Ryan Boyd is a colorist of extraordinary talent. He has been a salon owner for 20 years. His salon, Hair PH.D, is located in West Hollywood, 8490 Santa Monica Boulevard, Suite 4.

The Hair PH.D Salon is an intimate space designed to provide the ultimate in personal attention. Ryan's clients are pampered as they relax in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Ryan is one of the founders and President of the Internatonal Haircolor Exchange (IHE), a prominent organization of top haircolorists from the United States, Canada and Europe.

While serving on the Board of IHE, Ryan was instrumental in developing a standardized text and vocabulary for the teaching of haircolor.

He is currently spearheading a program for the certification of haircolorists in the United States and is one of the first Board Certified Haircolorists in the country.

Ryan trained with Vidal Sassoon, Jingles Academy in London, L'Oreal Institute of Paris, Redken, and Mastey of Paris, just to name a few.

He has lectured throughout the country for such companies as Framesi, Redken, Mastry of Paris and Paul Mitchell. Considered an expert in his field, he is still constantly searching for more knowledge of his profession.

Ryan Boyd has written articles and his hair PH.D. Salon has been featured in leading pubilcations such as Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Self, Modern Salon, The Los Angeles Times and more.
